My wife spent several days at western Infirmary recovering from surgery. Our highest praises to the staff for all they did to make our stay easier.

i spent two weeks in the western ref heart problems .had a pacemaker fitted . found the staff very attentive ,pleasant and helpful.normally all you hear about is how bad the nhs is ,but i couldn,t fault the treatment i got .ian s

In January 2010 I was admitted to level 10, then moved to level 8, the onto the stroke unit within Glasgow Western Infirmary, at all times the staff were very curtious, and friendly, the really seemed to care and couldnt do enought to help.
The food was very good, and there was a good variety.
No one wishes to go into hospital ,but if you have to the the Western is the one I would attend.

Booked in and tested. Very happy with the staff, operation went well. Even the food was great up on the "Penthouse Suite" L10P great view over the transport museum and Kelvin hall.
